This area of the Grand Canyon National Park is a very special place. It's not part of the South Rim or the North Rim, but a desolate area that can only be found after an arduous 4x4 drive over what might euphemistically be called a road. There are no concession stands, restrooms or hotels... just a gorgeous view of an unspoiled canyon.
