I was first struck by the brilliance of the sun's reflection on the bank of the lake... then the subtleties took over: The soft middle gray tones in the mid-foreground, the sharp delineation of the outer bank's reflection and the back-lit beauty of the forest beyond all joined forces to create a strong, powerful sight.
