"Heaven On Earth,
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming"
Everything about "Heaven on Earth" had to be "classical." The four corners needed to be in silhouette and have absolutely no wind. The reflection of the mountain couldn't be too clear or your focus would go to the reflection instead of the mountain itself. I needed to have just a slight ripple in the water to achieve that subtle difference. At the same time, the light line coming from the background trees had to have that downward angle to compliment the angle of the green forested mountain. As I was viewing all of these elements, the cloud was still behind the branches in the top left corner and, under the hood of my camera, I was praying it would make its way out and give me a little air space. When it finally did, I checked my exposure, made sure all of the other elements were in place and got off one shot before everything changed!
